As the Publisher of Charged UP! I am pleased to announce that we are moving to a new format with the relaunch of our weekly news to the EV Fleet Charging Community.
In addition to the articles that have been so popular with our readers, we will be offering you more content in a mixed media format. There will still be a way to read material from us but for those who want addition content, there will be videos, commentary, podcasts, a community discussion format and industry outreach. The choices will be available so that everyone can consume as much or as little as they like.
We hope you enjoy the new format, which will be more timely, more professionally curated and more accessible each and every week.
Publisher's Message
Welcome to ChargedUp! The new publication from Fifth Gen Media. After seeing Connected Real Estate Magazine through the transition to WIA, we were searching for the next logical opportunity to bring information, education and lead generation opportunities to a new, dynamic marketplace. We found it with Electric Vehicle charging for trucks, buses, heavy equipment and fleets. While there is an enormous amount of money, information, data and government programs available in the market today and with Charged UP! We will endeavor to bring all of the information on these topics Into one very readable, enjoyable, searchable and flexible set of publications including a bimonthly newsletter, a quarterly online magazine, eblasts, interviews and much more. Our website is under construction but it will have much to offer for those interested in EV Charging and resources about all the things you want to know.
But why EV Charging? Mainly because we are CHARGED UP! (get it?) about the potential for the enormous amount of interest there is right now in everything related to this topic. The Government programs designed to stimulate the adoption of buses, trucks, vehicle fleets and heavy equipment are measured in the tens of billions of dollars and as the old saying goes “If you want to succeed, follow the money”. Well folks, we are following the absolute flood of money into the EV Charging space.
Just an aside from our knowledge and our history in the wireless industry. Many of the companies that followed us with Connected Real Estate Magazine have moved into the EV Charging space and are finding opportunities as the telecom space has slowed. Again, follow the money. We intend to do our best to connect firms that are involved in all facets of charging like equipment choices, installation of charging gear, software, chargers themselves and much more with entities looking for help on their options. Options like funding, financing, permitting etc. Ideally, we see our opportunity for matchmaking as a service to all parties in this ecosystem.
